Q: What kind of performance artist are you?

Actor/Singer/Dancer/Musician/Videographer

Q: When did you first know that you wanted to be a full-time artist?

Both of my parents are Ballet Dancers, and my brother is a Principal Ballet Dancer with the Paris Opera Ballet in France. My sister is a carpenter but danced when she was younger also. So, I was always surrounded by Dance, Music, and artistry in General. I always knew I was going to do something creative and there was never a doubt in my mind. I came out the womb dancing!

Q: How are you keeping yourself inspired to create during this unprecedented time?

Since I usually perform on Broadway, I've been able to take this time to explore other parts of my artistry arsenal. As terrible as this pandemic has been for so many, it’s been a slight blessing in disguise for me. I've been working on Broadway since I was 11 years old, non-stop! So, this gave me a chance to take a "forced" break, breathe, and explore. I've been keeping busy by doing a lot more Videography work, as I hope to become a Cinematographer in the near future. I was also lucky enough to be the Director of Photography and editor for Sharrod Williams' "Neighbors" web-series! That definitely kept me sane and occupied during the pandemic!

Q: What is the biggest obstacle you’ve had to overcome as an artist and how did you overcome it?

I think my biggest obstacle which I continue to work on every day is staying true to myself and trying to please people less. Growing up as a classical dancer you always strive to be perfect, rather than yourself. At least that's how it was for me. As I came into my 20's and into adulthood, I've been trying to do what I love. As it should be!

Q: What are you most proud of in your career thus far?

I'm very proud that I’ve been able to sustain myself ever since I was 11 years old, consistently, and doing what I love!

Q: Is there anything you are working on now that can be shared and supported?

I'm the Director of Photography for the new web series "Neighbors," created by Sharrod Williams. Neighbors celebrates love, friendship, BIPOC, and the LGBTQ+ community.
